Our premises on Tower Hill, Freetown offer a variety of accommodation to suit your event hire needs.  

Our facilities have hosted many of the country’s memorable educational and cultural events over the years.  Personalities including presidents of Sierra Leone, parliamentarians, ministers, ambassadors, high commissioners and visiting VIPs have all used the British Council platform to reach out to their audiences. 

Whether you are looking to hold a large concert or dinner, or a small meeting or seminar, we can help. 

Auditorium

The British Council premises on Tower Hill hosts one the most famous auditoriums in Freetown, and indeed in the whole of Sierra Leone.  

The rectangular shaped auditorium can be easily adapted to host lectures, seminars, theatre, music and conferences. It has its own stage lights and public address system and screens.

The auditorium can accommodate:

  • 300 people for conferences, seminars and training
  • 200 people for dinners and theatre

Training and meeting rooms

Our seminar room is fully air-conditioned and is designed for smaller meetings of up to 25 people if seated in a round table format. 

With a seating capacity of 15 maximum, our meeting room is ideal for meetings, presentations and roundtable discussions.
